The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce has been hosting a legislative trip to the State Capitol for over 20 years. The purpose of the trip is to bring business leaders from the Western Slope together with state policy makers and members of the Governor’s staff for wide ranging discussions and briefings on a range of business topics. Typical attendance is 60-70 business leaders from the Grand Junction and other area chambers of commerce. The capstone event is an informal dinner at the Broker Restaurant which will also include between 25 and 35 members of the Colorado General Assembly.
