Seven high school students received “Hire Me First” certificates on June 24th. These students completed a three-week condensed Summer Camp at WCCC. Students learned 21st Century Workplace Skills, were given ten WorkKeys assessments and spent at least six hours in a Job Shadow experience in area businesses. The certificates can be used along with their resumes to apply for entry-level positions with area employers and demonstrate their skill level and readiness to work. The students who graduated from the summer 2016 class are:

Xocchyll Casiano
Destiny Chavez
Colson Firmin
Amy Garland
Emerson Hill
Allyson Laible
Gabe Liebelt

Guest Speakers included Matthew Breman, Kacey Watts, Elaina White, and Nina Anderson. Special thanks to WCCC for making it possible to enrich and enhance the lives of our young people with the experience.
