Dan Haley, the President and CEO of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association is the featured speaker for the Chamber’s next Energy Briefing March 16th, 12:00 PM at the Mesa County Workforce Center.
Prior to assuming his position Haley served as editorial page editor for the Denver post and as a media consultant including a stint at EIS.
Dan will share information on an economic impact study that was completed in early February that among other things shows that:
- The oil and gas industry contributed $1.2 billion to public revenues in 2014
- The average wage of an oil and gas employee is $105,168.
- 79% of all direct jobs are located in five counties; Denver, Garfield, Mesa, Weld and Adams.
