The International Economic Development Council is urging local entities to celebrate local economic development efforts during the week of May 8th through May 14th. ED Partners: Business Incubator Center, Grand Junction Economic Partnership and the Chamber are planning to raise the level of awareness of how all of these entities are helping businesses each day create jobs. Preliminary plans call for an open house sometime that week featuring all economic development organizations in the valley and offering education on the resources available to businesses.
Additionally, there are plans to produce short videos and other marketing materials to point out the important work economic development professionals do to improve the community. More information will be forthcoming soon.
