Do you have a budding entrepreneur sitting at home this summer plotting how to be the next Bill Gates? If so, you may want to pack them up and bring them by the Chamber office on Tuesday, June 7th, anytime between 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for an open house to learn more about the Young Entrepreneurs’ Academy hosted by the Chamber along with a several workforce development entities and sponsored by a host of area businesses.
Applications from middle and high school students interested in being the CEOs of their own companies are being accepted NOW with class size limited. The program begins in the fall and continues for 30 weeks with students actually starting their own companies. During the open house students can visit with past class participants, meet instructors, ask questions, obtain an applications and actually submit completed applications.
