At the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to remove barriers and burdens on our business community while actively supporting and investing in efforts that foster economic growth and a thriving local economy. We understand that to achieve a vibrant business climate, it’s essential to identify policies and leaders who share these priorities.

As we approach November, voters across Mesa County will face critical decisions that could shape the future of our local economy. As part of our Chamber’s advocacy efforts we are committed to helping the community identify ballot measures and candidates that genuinely support a pro-business environment, maintain the competitiveness of our state, county, and city, and avoid adding further burdens to the businesses that are the backbone of our economy.

For us, it’s never about politics; it’s about cultivating a thriving business environment that results in a thriving community. A flourishing business sector leads to more jobs, innovation, and opportunities, ultimately benefiting everyone in our community.

One way we work to serve as an educational resource for our members and the broader community is through our annual Candidate Forum. This year’s event will be held on September 23rd at the Grand Junction Convention Center. Members of our business community are invited to join us to hear directly from the candidates about the issues that matter most to our economic health. It’s an invaluable opportunity to understand where each candidate stands on policies impacting businesses in our area.

Space for the Candidate Forum is limited, and pre-registration is required. We encourage our members and business leaders to reserve their spot today .

By coming together and staying informed, we can make decisions that ensure Mesa County remains a competitive and attractive place for businesses to thrive. Let’s continue to champion policies and leaders who prioritize a prosperous future for all.
