We’re asking local businesses to take less than five minutes to complete our short survey. Your feedback will help us advocate for smart, balanced policies that reflect the realities of doing business in Western Colorado.

Tariffs on raw materials, equipment, and consumer goods can directly increase costs for manufacturers, healthcare providers, and retailers. Whether it’s the cost of steel for fabrication, diagnostic tools in a clinic, or inventory on store shelves, higher import prices can strain local businesses and stall growth. And these cost increases don’t stay confined to one sector—they affect wages, hiring, pricing, and ultimately, the region’s overall cost of living. When businesses are forced to cut back or raise prices, it impacts workers, families, and the broader economy.

That’s why your input matters.

We’re actively working with national stakeholders, industry groups, and elected officials to raise awareness of how these changes are affecting communities like ours. Your responses will strengthen our position as we push for fair trade policies that protect jobs, support small businesses, and sustain long-term growth in Mesa County.

Even if you haven’t yet felt the impact, your feedback helps us prepare and respond proactively.

Thank you for taking a moment to add your voice to this important conversation. Advocacy starts with awareness—and with your help, we’ll continue to ensure local realities are part of every federal decision.
