Last year the Chamber unveiled the new Chamber University online education center. The course catalogue can be found by clicking here and offers a wide range of classes from customer service basics to thinking like a Chief Financial Officer. There are modules on Human Resources, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, Using Microsoft Programs, and Business Leadership.
This is more than “how to” videos and webinars. The Grand Junction Chamber eLearning Center combines online courses that include lectures, simulations and case studies with a Learning Management System for our local training companies and subject matter experts to create online courses for our business community and their employees to access online. Employers have the option to “test drive” Chamber University by signing up their employees for unlimited access to classes for three months with no strings attached. If after seeing the benefits of this convenient and cost effective training center employers wish to continue to develop their workforce utilizing the classes the cost is as little as $20 per month per employee.
