According to Dr. Richard Wobbekind, head of the Business Research Division in the Leeds School of Business, Colorado University, any slow-down in economic growth in 2020 could be due to a lack of available workforce and a wait-and-see approach regarding the 2020 election. But there will still be growth.
Over 150 attendees gathered to listen to Wobbekinds annual outlook for both the state and local economies. During the presentation, he noted that our diversification of industries has led to a “thriving” economy in the Grand Valley, one that the rest of the state is noticing.
