Christopher Guith, senior vice president for policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for 21st Century Energy

The Trump Administration has made it clear that energy development will be viewed more favorably than in the previous administration but what does that really mean for energy development in Western Colorado?

Christopher Guith, senior vice president for policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for 21st Century Energy (Energy Institute) will kick off the 2017 Energy Briefing Series with news from the federal government level on Wednesday, February 8th, 8:00 AM at the Mesa County Workforce Center. Please note the special time and the fact that we will be serving breakfast rather than lunch in order to accommodate his schedule.

Guith is responsible for developing the Institute’s policies and initiatives as they apply to the legislative, executive, and regulatory branches of the federal and state governments. Specifically, he leads the development of the Energy Institute’s policies and messaging relating to oil and natural gas and nuclear energy and has been a presenter at past Energy Briefings.
