We were notified early this week we are a finalist for our submission to the Alliance for Rural Impact for the Creative Impact Project. The Creative Impact Project addresses the issue of economic adaptation, bringing together the perspectives of both industry and community to develop a new model for regional development. Through our partnership with the Colorado Advanced Manufacturers Association, we were able to collaborate with many of our small towns and cities across the Western Slope, as well as, many institutions of higher education and businesses. We will learn more about the designation as we go, but we have demonstrated the ability to collaborate for the good of the region. We were chosen as ONE of THREE locations in the U.S.
