The Chamber Health Care Survey conducted in October asked main contacts for our members questions about health care coverage and found some interesting information based upon the 100 responses that were received (14% of those polled).
Key takeaways included:
• 32% of respondents do not offer any sort of health care benefit to their employees
• Of those that have plans, 64% had raised the deductible in the past three years
• 60% would be interested in forming an employer led cooperative to negotiate with providers and design their own health care plan
• 40% were willing to be part of an employer led task force to look at options for positively impacting overall costs
