It is back to school time not just for students in August but also for our CMU 20,000 initiative. Join us for a light breakfast and learn about all of the progress that has been made in providing college level access for high school students in District 51 on Wednesday, August 22nd, 7:30 AM at the CMU Ballroom. Tim Foster, CMU President and Diana Sirko, Mesa Valley School District 51 Superintendent will discuss how the two entities are working together to remove barriers and encourage participation by high school students in earning college credits and industry certifications. The goal is to have students graduate high school with a head start on their postsecondary journey and/or the skills needed to enter the local workforce immediately if that is what they want to do.
