The Young Professionals Network (YPN) of Mesa County has been buzzing with energy—and it’s not just the coffee at our morning meetups.
Over the past several months, YPN has been steadily growing its presence in the Grand Junction business community through a consistent calendar of meaningful, connection-driven events. Designed specifically for professionals in their 20s and 30s, our monthly rhythm makes it easy to plug in, build relationships, and stay inspired—no matter where you are in your career.
Each month, we host three recurring events that offer flexible options for connecting:
Before Hours: These casual, early morning coffee meetups are perfect for getting a jump on the day while meeting new people in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. This month, we gathered at Enstrom Candies—because nothing pairs better with networking than a warm drink and a piece of their signature toffee. It was a cozy, energizing way to start the day.
Lunch Conversations: Held midday and centered around a specific topic, these events are all about learning and sharing. Last month, we hosted a lively session on real estate insights led by Bray Real Estate. Whether attendees were thinking about buying their first home or just wanted to better understand the local market, the conversation was packed with actionable advice and great questions.
After Hours: We round out each month with our most social event—After Hours. These evening gatherings are all about winding down, relaxing, and building relationships outside of work. Our most recent one was a hit, held on the driving range at Redlands Mesa Golf Course. Between scenic views, cold drinks, and a few impressive swings, it was a night to remember and a perfect example of how fun and meaningful networking can be.
And it’s working. Attendance at all three events has been steadily growing, with more and more young professionals showing up, making connections, and staying involved. Beyond the numbers, we’re hearing stories of real impact: new jobs, professional referrals, business collaborations, and lasting friendships that started at a YPN event.
