Representative Matt Soper speaks at the 2022 Legislative Wrap Up event

It’s been another busy year during the current Colorado Legislative Session! Area lawmakers will gather to discuss what really happened during the session and what to expect as we move forward at the Annual Legislative Wrap-Up Luncheon May 15th.

Join us as we recap the wins, the losses, and the continuing efforts to keep a healthy business climate in Mesa County. This event brings together business owners, community leaders, and elected officials to discuss the most pressing issues facing the Grand Junction area, what happened during the session, and the outlook for the coming year. During the luncheon, attendees have the opportunity to hear from local and state politicians about their accomplishments over the past year, as well as their plans for the future.

Also in attendance this year, Ed Sealover, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Editor at the Colorado Chamber of Commerce, will present on the changes the business community can expect to see in the next few years, and how to remain involved in the legislative process. New legislation passed this session dealing with employee rights, environmental protection, infrastructure and transportation, and healthcare all have effects on your business, and you will not want to miss this important presentation!

The Annual Legislative Wrap-Up Luncheon is an excellent opportunity for business owners, community leaders, and citizens to stay informed about the legislative process and to get involved in shaping policy.
