The last half of March and first part of April, the Grand Junction Area Chamber (GJACC) had 21 volunteers and staff out hand-delivering your 2023 Membership Directory and other membership materials to 750 member businesses!
We love this time of year, because we can visit your place of business and connect with you. Through our volunteers, we have heard what is on your mind, how busines is going, what’s keeping you up at night and new developments within your business.
We want MORE! Here are some ways to connect with YOUR Chamber:
Answer our surveys
The most recent survey is about the “Unhoused and the Impact on our Local Business Community.” We will then use that information to work with community stakeholders and help them be informed about this piece of the puzzle and work to protect those who drive our economic health and stability.
Ask us questions
Do you have something that you just aren’t sure you understand and how to address it? Our staff would LOVE to help, even if it’s just pointing you to a resource. Oftentimes we will see a trend amongst our employers and that will spark the next webinar topic! They always say if one person has a question, at least ten more have it also.
Attend a networking event
The members you meet at one of these events could be the connection you are looking for! or maybe you do need to step out of the office and chat with others about what’s going on in Grand Junction. Fresh perspectives and building peer relationships can be so rewarding and sometimes you don’t know when that payoff will come into play.
Register for a signature event
Signature events are where we get to the heart of what’s helpful for the health and vitality of our business community. We look forward to welcoming you to these exceptionally curated events that are meant to connect you to experts in a variety of fields and provide you with the latest information and how that may impact YOUR business.
Join a committee or volunteer
You read above about some of the amazing volunteers we have that are engaged with GJACC. If you want to learn more about what we do or if you think there is something that is missing, get engaged with our volunteer teams. We have the Diplomats team that are ambassadors and participate in multiple ways , the board of directors may be a good fit for you in the future, and the Governmental Affairs committee has tons of hands on opportunities.
Opportunities exist to connect with YOUR Chamber and the rewards can be endless. What is it that you are looking for?
