The April 19th Energy Briefing at the Museum of Western Colorado Whitman Education Center will feature representatives from Veresen, Inc. the developers of Jordan Cove discussing the way forward for getting approvals and constructing a liquefied natural gas export facility on the West Coast. Such a facility would benefit gas producers in Western Colorado.

On May 11th, representatives from the Colorado Operations Office of General Synfuels, Incorporated (GSI) will do a presentation. General Synfuels International, Inc. (“GSI”) is committed to delivering a green transformation for fossil fuels development. GSI has developed a patented, environmentally friendly, energy-self-sustaining and economically attractive process to recover oil and gas products from oil shale.

Energy Briefings begin promptly at 12:00 PM and reservations are required as lunch is served. The cost is $15 for GJACC members.

There will be no Energy Briefing in June or July.
