We believe that as Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce members, you are uniquely positioned to take advantage of opportunities to have your employees learn and grow into the leaders that your organization needs today and, in the future, to thrive. Each month, we have networking opportunities for any employees of our members to engage with peers, connect, and collaborate. The Young Professional Network (YPN) of Mesa County is another excellent opportunity for employees to engage and build their network of peers. The relationships created and nurtured through our events and YPN can be extremely valuable.
Quarterly we have opportunities for members and their employees to attend the Quarterly Membership luncheon where they can be inspired by strategic thinkers and experts presenting topics that impact your business now. We work to address topics that are “keeping our businesses up at night” and try to cover topics that are timely and relevant. This series of events would be a great opportunity to invite an employee to join that has shown interest in professional growth and development.
Finally, several times a year, we hold various Summits including the Health Summit, Energy Summit, and the newest addition – the Young Professional Summit. Each Summit hosts amazing speakers featured in breakout or keynote sessions that all businesses will find interesting and impactful.
We are committed to identifying, growing, and recognizing the emerging leaders in our community and that is how the idea for the Young Professional Summit blossomed. This will be the event to attend and send your employees to if you want to continue to create and develop leadership in your organization and for our community.
