Over the past eight months, the 2023-2024 Mesa County Leadership Program class has committed to learning about the collaborative efforts that make our community work and thrive, hearing from local leaders and touring facilities in government, water, healthcare, education, economic development and more. In, these up-and-coming leaders will officially complete the program and join the many community leaders who have come before them as graduates of the Mesa County Leadership Program.

The graduation ceremony will take place on June 13th at Bookcliff Country Club from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Known for its interactive and on-site sessions, this program “pulls back the curtain” and truly gives these future leaders an up-close look at what keeps our community thriving and the economy growing. Playing a crucial role in fostering leadership skills and community engagement among civic-minded individuals in Mesa County, this program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the complexities of community development and increase understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our community. As we have seen since the inception of the program in 1992, these experiences equip program participants with the skills and knowledge needed to take on leadership roles in the community and make a positive impact on the region’s future.

For over 30 years and counting, an annual average of 20 next-generation business leaders have dedicated one day a month to learning everything they can about what it means to be a leader in our business community as a participant of the Mesa County Leadership Program. This amounts to over 600 dedicated individuals who have actively taken steps to bolster and become leaders of our community.

Applications for the 2024-2025 Mesa County Leadership Program will close on May 31st at 5:00 pm!
