The Chamber’s Total Resource Campaign, a ten-week effort to secure the needed resources to manage multiple programs and events for the business community in 2018 was even more successful in Year 2, which just wrapped up. The volunteers and involved companies (numbering over 100) blew past the goal of $200,000 to generate almost $217,000 of support.
Co-Chairs of the Campaign Donna Hardy, Dalby Wendland and Co., and Susan Alvillar, James Alvillar and Associates provided inspiration, motivation, and leadership for the 35 volunteers who reached out into the community and beyond to demonstrate the value of Chamber programming to businesses of all sizes. New programming ideas identified by members such as a Leadership Summit and State of the Valley Luncheon were well received by potential funders along with returning favorites such as the Chamber’s legislative activities and the Health Care Summit. “Our goal was a bit of a reach this year but our volunteers and our businesses showed that what we do is of value to them,” noted Diane Schwenke, President and CEO. “The response was humbling and we pledge to put these resources to work creating a strong economy and being the business voice in creating a healthy business climate and better community.”
If you are a business that was not contacted during that campaign that is interested in membership and/or supporting the major initiatives and program/events of the Chamber, please give Trish a call, 970-263-2912 or email her [email protected].
