The Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce was proud to work closely with the Economic Development Council of Colorado during their recent DRIVE | LEAD | SUCCEED Annual Conference to organize tours to spotlight the economic diversity across the Grand Valley for visiting economic development professionals from Colorado.

The first tour, hosted in collaboration with the Palisade Chamber of Commerce, focused on agri-tourism in Palisade, where participants explored vineyards, orchards, and related attractions. The second tour, guided and hosted in partnership with the Fruita Chamber of Commerce, showcased the business diversity in Fruita, emphasizing the array of industries in the area.

The third tour highlighted “hidden gem” manufacturers unique to the Grand Valley and was led by the team at the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce. The tour focused on underscoring the significance of local manufacturing and its economic impact on surrounding industries while also highlighting important innovations that are leading the world in unique product production.

Additionally, there were tours emphasizing the arts and culture along Main Street and the ongoing riverfront revitalization efforts organized by Downtown Grand Junction and the Grand Junction Economic Partnership. These tours collectively presented a comprehensive picture of the Grand Valley’s economic landscape, from agriculture and manufacturing to arts, culture, and community development, offering valuable insights for potential investors and partners in the region.

The Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to collaborate with our fellow Chamber and Economic Development partners on efforts like the EDCC Annual Conference as we work collectively to strengthen our community while setting examples across the State for innovation and entrepreneurialism.
